Located in the vibrant southwest of Montreal, this neighborhood café and grocery store resides within the walls of a former antique shop.

The design intent was centered on honoring the building's original character and inviting atmosphere, seamlessly adapting it to its current commercial purpose.

Drawing inspiration from heritage English storefronts and pastoral country estates, the aesthetic showcases classic architectural elements, traditional millwork, rich wood tones, and organic textures. Carrara marble was carefully selected for its enduring elegance, providing a sophisticated counterpoint to the more rustic, lived-in components of the interior palette.

The final composition was envisioned as a welcoming and lived-in sanctuary. By thoughtfully integrating vintage details with the new layout, the project preserves the soul and unique charm that defined the space in its previous life.
